Plenković: We win elections, the opposition loses with their 17th no-confidence initiative. Our results speak for themselves.
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković stated that his government is winning elections while the opposition is losing, citing their 17th no-confidence initiative as evidence. Speaking after an event in Osijek, he criticized the opposition for delaying the election of Constitutional Court judges, placing the responsibility solely on them. Plenković highlighted the government's achievements, including economic growth (GDP increase from 47 to 86.5 billion euros), a record 32% increase in public sector salaries this year, and increased defense spending to over 2% of GDP with a focus on modernization. He also asserted that Croatia is rapidly catching up with more developed EU member states, moving from 62% to 78% of the EU average development level since 2016, and that the country is currently in its largest investment cycle.
