Premijer Sanader: Zakon o HRT-u mijenjat će se nakon izbora
Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader condemned a recent physical altercation between two members of the HRT Program Council, stating it was unacceptable for individuals chosen by the Croatian Parliament to behave in such a manner. He announced that changes to the HRT Act would be necessary, particularly concerning financial oversight, but insisted these reforms would be postponed until after the autumn parliamentary elections to avoid political complications during an election year. Sanader also addressed criticisms regarding the government's cooperation in defending Croatian generals accused at the Hague Tribunal, asserting that the government is doing everything in its power and that the defense teams are satisfied. He expressed his personal belief in the generals' cooperation and urged their legal teams to work together effectively to present a unified defense. Sanader also voiced his dissatisfaction with the Hague Tribunal's decision to prevent lawyer Miroslav Šeparović from representing General Mladen Markač, expressing hope for a reversal in the appeal process.
