The Council of Agriculture and Fisheries Ministers of the EU (AGRIFISH) met on February 23, 2026, in Brussels, chaired by Cyprus. The meeting focused on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2027, with discussions on national recommendations, the transfer of CAP and CFP provisions to sectoral regulations, and the evaluation of the Directive on Unfair Commercial Practices. Croatia advocated for flexibility in CAP recommendations and supported initiatives to enhance legal clarity and protect farmers from unfair practices.
