Grlić Radman: Mostar as a model for electoral reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ensuring representation without outvoting Croats
Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, during his visit to Mostar, proposed the local political agreement as a model for electoral reform across Bosnia and Herzegovina. He argued that the Election Law should be amended to prevent the "outvoting" of Croats, ensuring their legitimate representation in state institutions such as the BiH Presidency and the House of Peoples, in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement. Mostar Mayor Mario Kordić supported this view, highlighting the city's functioning and peaceful coexistence as a successful example. The Minister also met with religious leaders and visited a memorial in Grabovica for Croat civilians killed in 1993.
