Uniline and Atlas: Dialogue Among All Stakeholders is Now Crucial in Tourism
The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted Croatia's tourism industry, causing a lack of travel and income. Major travel agencies Uniline and Atlas stress the importance of dialogue between all parties, including domestic and international partners, to foster cooperation, create survival strategies, and prepare for future operations. They support the idea of travel vouchers, as proposed by ECTAA, to address liquidity problems caused by cancellations and ensure business sustainability while allowing customers to travel later. Both agencies highlight the need for state and bank support and anticipate potential changes in business models due to the crisis.
