Turistički porasti u Dubrovniku u prvoj polovici 2014. godine
Dubrovnik experienced a significant increase in tourism during the first half of 2014, with 317,669 arrivals and 1.04 million overnight stays, representing an 11% and 9% rise respectively compared to the previous year. June alone saw 119,628 arrivals and 443,045 overnight stays, an 11% increase. Key markets showing growth include Great Britain (10% increase), Korea (tripled arrivals), and China (84% increase). Spanish tourist arrivals also rose by 16%. The Dubrovnik Walls also recorded a record number of visitors, with 311,000 in the first six months, an 8% increase. Projections suggest that by the end of 2014, over 870,000 visitors will have toured the walls, potentially surpassing the 2013 record, with over 80% being individual tourists.
