Brendiranje ruralnih proizvoda i regija za bolju prepoznatljivost
Alexander Wirsig, a German expert, emphasized the importance of branding rural products and regions in Croatia to enhance market recognition and profitability. The conference, held during the 9th Eko Etno Hrvatska Europa Tour fair in Zagreb, gathered around 50 participants. Wirsig stated that high quality, attractive, innovative products with clear geographical origins are increasingly sought after. He also suggested using regional image in marketing strategies. Hans Embacher from the Austrian Rural Tourism Association shared their successful 'Village Tourism' branding, which has led to increased tourist numbers. The Eko Etno fair, running from October 26-30, features 400 exhibitors from various Croatian regions and neighboring countries showcasing rural products, crafts, folklore, and traditions.
